I don't know much about Degage Ministries, the group that sponsored this video and makeover, but I do know this; they seem to have a pretty good handle on the idea that human beings are more important than merely what we may happen
to look like, or our station in life.
Who could possibly know what Jim Wolf has gone through over the years by merely looking at him, but one thing is certain; his Creator God knows who he is, and his value as a human being is precious.
Today is Veteran's
Day, and whether or not you agree with some of the places our soldiers have been sent, or with the battles they have fought, on one point I think we can all agree...we owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude.
I'm saddened when I hear people who call themselves Christians saying mean-spirited and disparaging things about those who have paid a powerfully steep price for the
freedoms that we hold dear.
Let's covenant with ourselves, and with God, that by His grace we will not judge someone by what we think they are, but by the worth that God has already placed on them by sending His Son Jesus Christ to die for them.
