Hello ,
If you have been an Open Word e-Devotional subscriber for a few years, you know that on this day
every year I take some time to thank God for my lovely wife, Roberta. This is a fairly recent picture of us together (sitting on our front porch). Roberta has aged amazingly well. Me? I'm just thankful to be here, and still excited to be married to this beautiful woman.
"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and
not evil all the days of her life." Proverbs 361:10-12
Today marks the day when Roberta and I said "I do" 31 years ago. Our relationship is a testimony to the fact that God never let's us
travel the road of life alone. She's a wonderful wife, mother to our children, and ministry partner. Tomorrow we'[ll be back to our regularly scheduled program. Today, I want to say a great big Happy Anniversary to my bride, and publicly thank the God of heaven for bringing her into my life
