Hello ,
I receive e-mail almost every day from Open Word e-Devotional subscribers. I try very hard to
respond to each e-mail that comes my way, but this morning a message of a heartbreaking nature arrived in my e-Mail inbox. An Open Word subscriber (Jean) shared with me that her husband Mike passed away last Monday, September 25th.
As you can well imagine, she is hurting very badly from losing someone so close. I have asked her permission to share her loss with you, and to ask you to join me in prayer for her and her family as they attempt to journey through their
grief. Would you stop for a moment to lift Jean (and her family) up to our Heavenly Father in prayer today?
I believe in the power of prayer! I believe that God leans in close when we hurt, and I am asking for that in a very special way today. Thank-you for any prayers that you send up on Jean's behalf. May God be with her in the challenging days ahead!
