Hello ,
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I
have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
Jesus could have said lots of different things to His
disciples in this narrative that we find in John chapter 13...but He didn't. When talking about our witness to the world, Jesus made a very distinct and pointed observation.
The world will know that we have a relationship with the divine IF we love each other. Period.
My relationship with Jesus is displayed by my ability to love others. It's a sobering reminder to give Him everything in every moment. Only HE can help me to love other people the way that He does.
