 Hello ,

"The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing."  Stephen Covey

I couldn't agree more!  I suffer from a not-so-rare disorder that many people also seem to be stricken with.  C.S.O.S. can be a debilitating condition, and I struggle with it day in and day out.   Do you have it too?

C.S.O.S. - Chasing Shiny Objects Syndrome

Maybe it's the creative side of me taking over, but if I see something that piques my interest, I can easily chase after it...until something else that's "shiny" comes along.  Sometimes, it's all I can do NOT to take a serendipitous "avenue" toward something that seems like it's worth my attention.

Side-tracked - To divert from a main issue or course  (Dictionary)

A love relationship with God takes focus.  It's easy for some of us to get side-tracked from the main reason that we exist, and to begin to chase the "shiny objects" of life.  Sometimes we get caught up in some new "toy," or a new position at work, or even a new relationship.  These are not necessarily "bad" things, but when they begin to take the place of our legitimate need to connect with the Almighty, perhaps we need to re-assess just how important they really are.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13

Have a great day and God bless!
