Hello ,
In God's kingdom, things are not always what they seem. Jesus plainly tells us a truth about what happens in heaven's realm that doesn't always jibe with worldly standards. Through our text today, He's basically telling us that "less CAN be more." How is that possible? It doesn't seem
logical at first glance.
It's all in the heart of the giver!
If I read my bible correctly, God doesn't need our precious gold, silver, and paper. So many people get
caught up in trying to earn more and still more, but He already has everything He needs. Donating our funds and our time grudgingly to His cause doesn't impress Him. God wants a devoted heart that puts Him first in all things. That's a tall order, and we need His help to do just that!
