Hello ,
Here's a picture of me sending
out the first wave of the small "Peace" Cards that I told our subscribers about a few weeks ago. If you requested a stack of 10 cards to share with your friends and acquaintances, they have either already left...or will soon be leaving.
For those of our new subscribers who may not understand what is being done here; I
was able to create a card that talks about God's peace during the troubling times that we often experience in life. A number of us are sharing these little cards as a way to bring (at least a little) hope into the lives of those who are experiencing challenges.
If you requested some of these cards, and they don't arrive within the next
week or so, please don't hesitate to contact me. I think I was able to get them all addressed and mailed out, but I do make mistakes (more often than I care to even think about).
If you didn't request a small quantity of these cards, but you would like to...please contact me with your postal address. I'll gladly mail 10 of them to you. I'll even pay for the postage to get them into your hands.
I'm doing what I can to spread the love of Christ around
through these FREE daily e-Devotionals and I would absolutely love to have you pray for this tiny ministry. We have now broken the 500 subscriber mark with The Open Word, and I am praying that God increases our territory so that more people can receive these daily e-Devotionals. I truly believe that God has the answers to life's questions...and I'd like to share the good news with anyone who might listen.
Just a quick example of how God answers prayers in so many little way: The Open Word operates on a "shoe-string" budget. God always comes through for me to increase our opportunities to share Jesus. Just a few days ago I was praying about the postage to send out all of these "extra-weight" packages with the "Peace Cards" in them. The following morning, a donation
arrived in my mailbox that covered the postage necessary. God is faithful when we step out in faith to share His kingdom with others.
Please keep this small "Peace Card" ministry in your prayers. We are living in very solemn times, and I am praying that The Open Word Daily e-Devotionals will bless those that receive them. Thanks for taking the time to read it. I appreciate your willingness to trust me to send these out to you!
Warmest Regards,
