"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are
become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
Happy New Year's Day to you and yours! For some, this day represents a new beginning, a "mulligan" (if you will) on doing the things that
we should doing, and the cessation of the things that we shouldn't be participating in.
Oddly enough though, most people concentrate on behavioral issues, and often rarely get to the heart of the matter in dealing with their challenges.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew
6:33
Jesus has ways of dealing with heart issues that we cannot deal with on our own. My prayer for each subscriber to The Open Word e-Devotional (and for myself)...is that we will draw in closer to the One who has the ability to help us in all
the other areas of our lives.
