I just did an official count of e-Devotionals that I have had the opportunity to send to Open Word subscribers over the past 3+ years. Here it is:

I could hardly believe the number myself...but then again, when I think about the mornings when I'm pleading with the Lord to give me something to say that will be spiritually meaningful to someone on our subscriber list, I recall how inadequate I sometimes feel when I see the task before me. This e-Devotional has been dedicated to the Lord and to the increase of his kingdom, and so I continue to trust him for everything...especially for the messages that go out each morning.
Here are just a few of the neat things that we have seen coming out of this ministry:

Some subscribers have told me that they use an e-Devotional from time to time at their churches during the opening exercises of their study times, or during their worship services.
- I understand that a team of nurses are using the e-Devotionals for a "beginning of shift" worship service together. Wow! I'm really thankful for that!
- I get e-mails (almost daily, and sometimes many times a day) from subscribers who received "just the message" they needed for THAT particular morning. It always puts a smile on my face and a song in my heart when I hear from Open Word subscriber family members.
The list goes on and on, but I'm sure you get the picture....God is blessing this e-Devotional ministry in ways that still amaze me every day.
