Hello ,
When love takes you in, everything changes! Those are lyrics to a song that Steven Curtis Chapman wrote, and they say more about the effects of love on the human heart than anything else that I could come up with.
Problem is, the word "love" is used in such a variety of circumstances, that we often lose the meaning of what true love really is. We say things like, "I just love potato chips," and then use the same word for how we feel about our spouse or our child. It often feels inadequate.
The scriptures adequately describe what love does, how it behaves, and what the effects of love are. You can find the passages at the following link:
On this day when so many buy chocolates, purchase flowers, and spend millions on trying to show others how much they love them, I want to challenge you to reflect on how much you have been changed by the love in your life.
Here's a song that Steven Curtis Chapman wrote about it. Take a moment to relax and listen to the words of this quiet, strengthening song. When Love Takes You In
While you listen, think about how much God loves you, and how important you are to Him. It'll do wonders for the rest of your day.
Have a great day and God bless!
