Hello ,
"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Father forgive your trespasses."
Matthew 6:14-15
In the Open Word e-Devotional, you may notice that I talk a great deal about forgiveness. One of the most difficult things that a Christian, (or anyone else for that matter,) can do is to forgive someone who has legitimately wronged them. Over the next few days I am going to share the
stories of people who have moved past harboring anger and revenge, and moved on to forgiving people who have caused them immense pain.
Today I want to share a link to a story that moved me to my core. A mother in Minneapolis who lost her only son to a brutal murder in 1993 has not only forgiven the man that committed the crime,
she now lives next door to him. You may wish to have a tissue ready as you contemplate the depth of this woman's love for the one who killed her only child.
Have a great day and God bless!
