A parable:
A one dollar bill met a twenty dollar bill and said, "Hey, where've you been? I haven't seen you around here much." The twenty answered (as
the dollar bill listened enviously), "I've been hanging out at the casinos, went out on a cruise and did the rounds of the ship, back to the United States for a while, went to a couple of baseball games, to the mall, that kind of stuff. How about you?" The one dollar bill said, "You know, same old stuff, church, church, church."
This is a
funny story with a not-so-funny lesson about the monetary priorities that so many people who call themselves Christians have. God's kingdom is worth investing in!
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes
and offerings. Malachi 3:8
Have a great day and God bless!
