I'm not sure that I agree with Abraham Lincoln on this particular issue, but I do know that God looks on the heart of an individual, rather than on the outward appearance. The world desperately needs people who concentrate more on their inner beauty than on what they look like. How's your "inner-beauty" working today with those you meet?
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
