Hello ,
"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea." Mark 9:42
From time to time I've wondered what would happen if churches had a "millstone ministry." It doesn't sound very pleasant does it, and yet Jesus is very clear that hurting those "little ones" who believe in Him is very serious business to Him.
Christ is not advocating violence in this passage, He's reminding us of the importance of protecting those who are weak in the faith. They're precious to Him, and we need to ask Him for the grace to treat them with the utmost decency and respect.
Lord, help me to treat other the way that You would. In Jesus name, amen!
