Hello ,
The two main excuses most people give for not praying is that they don't have time and they don't have a place to go.
Susanna Wesley, who was the mother of John and Charles Wesley back in the 1700 s had 19 children. Not all of them lived past infancy, but it has been said that 11 of those children were quite active in childhood.
If anybody had an excuse for not praying (but certainly has a need to pray), it was her.
Susanna would spend an hour every day in prayer.
Where does a mother like Susanna go to escape?
Nowhere!
What she would do was to take her apron and flip it up over her head and spend an hour in prayer. Her children knew not to disturb her in that time because "mother is in her apron praying."
When one looks at this incredible woman's prayer life, if removes excuses as to why we don't spend more time communicating with our Heavenly Father!
How is your prayer life today?
Think of this as a gentle reminder to keep those lines of communication open with heaven.
Have a great day and god bless!
