Hello ,
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23
It's interesting to note that this verse doesn't say the "fruits" of the Spirit, but rather the "fruit" (singular) of the Spirit. This seems to suggest that when the Holy Spirit is a living reality in someone's life, that all of these attributes begin to manifest themselves.
Ask yourself the following:
- What would it be like if all Christians were loving?
- How would the world become a better place, if all Christians were joyful?
- What if they were gentle with everyone they came in contact with?
One could go through the entire list of attributes, and ask the question, "What would happen if this was found in abundance in the lives of people who call themselves Christians?
Well, you and I cannot hope to see this happen, if it doesn't first begin with us on a personal level.
The Holy Spirit can help us each and every day to be all the God wants us to be, and it begins with asking.
Have a great day and God bless!
