When I think back on all the things that I have done in my life that are shameful, discouraging, and downright wrong, I sometimes get disheartened. Then I think of how the Bible likens His removal of my sins as throwing them into the depths of the sea, and my courage returns. Where would any of us be if we didn't have that incredible hope in Jesus?
