Sometime back the Associated Press carried this dispatch: "Glasgow, Ky.--Leslie Puckett, after struggling to start his car, lifted the hood and discovered that someone had stolen the motor."
Can you imagine getting in your vehicle to start it up in the morning, putting the key in the ignition, attempting to turn is over, only to discover that the motor was missing when you lifted the hood to see what was wrong?
Some Christians are attempting basically the same in their spiritual lives, by trying to move forward without the power of the Holy Spirit working in their hearts. But just like poor Leslie Puckett's vehicle, these poor Christians only LOOK the part. We need God's power in our lives. We need Him to show up!
If Jesus has ALL POWER, doesn't it make sense to stay connected to Him through every moment of our daily lives?
