Hello ,
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." Psalms 19:14
Could there be a passage of scripture that is anymore appropriate than this one in Psalms, right now in our own current political climate? I am reminded of this verse from God's Word whenever I get the urge to argue about something that I am passionate about. My words matter, and when it is only ME who is in control of them, I have discovered that they don't always come out the way that I intended them.
Lord, please give me the right words to say today...even if that means that I just stay quiet, breathe a prayer, and smile. In Jesus' name, amen!
