Hello ,
According to a study at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., iron supplements are the number-one cause of death from "accidental overdose" in children.
Our moms often made us take our vitamins. Without vitamins, our bodies would develop skeletal defects, eye impairments, dermatitis, anemia-in essence, our bodies would begin to break down. Taken in high doses however, and Vitamins A, D, B6, and iron are highly toxic. Too much iron in our systems can cause liver failure, low blood pressure, depression, coma, and death.* Something that can be good for us...can also be
deadly.
Question: With the "good works" of ministry in a Christian life, when does too much of a good thing become a bad thing?
Answer: When we're so busy doing the work of the Lord, that we forget the Lord of the work.
Yes, it's possible to get SO busy doing good things, that we actually put our own personally relationship with Jesus Christ on the "back-burner" so that we can concentrate on doing good things.
Sometimes we just have to step back and recognize that God is God...and we're not!
Lord, help me find balance. In Jesus name, amen!
Have a great day and God bless!
