The Bible says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Even being around people who don't have the best influence can have an effect on how we act, how we respond, and what we choose to do in a given
circumstance.
There is always a good reason to ask God to guard our hearts...we can't simply lock ourselves away where bad influences can't touch us. He is faithful to help us in every circumstance that life throws at
us.
