Hello ,
How are you doing today, ? If you're anything like me, this "social distancing" that we are supposed to be doing is challenging to the senses. I'm kind of a "people-person," and steering clear of being near to others is a difficult thing for me to want to do.
I have discovered that (prior to the pandemic), I spent time with a LOT of people every day. I had so many opportunities to share my faith; during my interactions with people at the store, the post office, and the gas station.
What do we do when we are no longer able to be around as many people as we have been accustomed to being?
There is a way to reach out to others, and (although it's not as personal as meeting face to face), it can be effective in reaching others with good news from God's Word.
At the bottom of every Open Word e-Devotional, you will see some tiny social sharing links in the left hand corner. I add these to the Open Word e-Devotionals, so that you can quickly and efficiently share the e-Devotionals with your friends and family on sites like Twitter, Facebook. and Linked-In. It's as simple as pushing a button, and you can share the daily e-Devotionals with those that you love and stay in contact
with.
It's certainly not on par with spending time with others face-to-face, but it can still be a way to add spiritual value to someone's life today! Give it a try and see how it works on tomorrow's e-Devotional!
Have a great day and God bless!
P.S. You'll see what I am talking about below. Just press one (or all) of those link buttons, and start sharing the good news of God's Word every morning! Thanks
