Hello ,
Who are we that God would care so much about us?
Has that thought ever crossed your mind? Have you ever really stopped and contemplated its meaning, and your purpose for being placed here on planet earth? It's easy to get so caught up in the enormity of it all that we miss the real purpose of asking
it.
My value as an individual is not dependent upon what other people think about me, (although I would prefer that they think well of me.) My intrinsic worth does not rise or fall with the times. The value that heaven places on me doesn't depend on current trends in the world, or on what I may (or may not be) doing with my
life.
What heaven thinks about me was demonstrated at the cross.
The very idea that God would send Jesus down to die in my place so that I can have eternal life is worth thinking about...daily. It helps me to re-focus my thoughts heavenward, and it assists me in getting them off of myself.
