Hello ,
"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?"
Matthew 6:28-30
I'm a "worry-wart."
I probably inherited it from my dad, (he was quite a worrier,) but I often find myself being anxious about a number of things. (I don't like to call it "worry," that sounds so...weak...I like to call it "concern,"...:)
It is during these times of "worry," that I have to remind myself to remember that God loves me, and has my best interest in mind. Just because I can't see around the next "corner" of my life, doesn't mean that He isn't in control...it just means that I have to ask Him to help me trust Him
more.
How is it with you after receiving the recent news of the declared state of emergency coming from our government? Is there something (or a number of "somethings") that you're "concerned" about? Let me urge you to take a few moments, open up the scriptures, turn to Matthew chapter 6:25-31 and read this
passage.
God loves us...and if we turn to Him, (even during times of worry,) He can give us the strength that we need to make it through the valleys.
Have a great day and God bless!
