Hello ,
When is the last time that you could honestly say that you found rest in God alone? I've heard people say, "If I could only have that, then I'd be happy." I've rarely seen that actually happen in the sequence that they dream about.
Resting in God alone describes a place of "being" rather than "having." When we know who we are in Him, we can rest in the arms of Someone who knows all about us...and is still deeply in love with us! It's peaceful, it brings rest, and it's what we all search to find...whether we know that we are searching for it or not!
