From time to time, I have someone ask me about online resources that I find interesting (in the area of spiritual growth and Bible Study). Rather than respond individually to each request for this information, I thought I would send out a list to all of The Open Word e-Devotional subscribers. This is only a partial list, but I hope it will bless you!
Online Bible Tool with multiple translations and versions. I prefer the NKJV of the scripture, but you can find a number of various translations and versions of the scriptures here.
Online Strong's Concordance. If you enjoy digging deeply into God's Word, you will enjoy working within this online dashboard that allows you to "drill down" into the original languages. You can find it here.
Your Story Hour. If you have young children or grandchildren, Your Story Hour is a resource that will help them learn about having a relationship with God in am engaging way. My good friend (and pastor), Jon is one of the speakers for this ministry, and I highly recommend it. They have an area where kids can sign
up for a FREE "Clubhouse Magazine, and children can also subscribe to a FREE set of Bible lessons. An excellent resource for the entire family, and the kids absolutely love the engaging audio stories. You can find it here.
It Is Written. I have a number of good friends that work for this amazing ministry. Pastor John Bradshaw is an excellent preacher, and hosts a daily video spot called 'Every Word" that's insightful and thought-provoking. You can find it here.
Lifestyle Magazine. Lifestyle Magazine is a half hour television talk show focused on living a full, healthy and balanced life. It is the second longest running show on air after “Meet the Press.” The show features panel discussions, interviews and demonstration segments focused on whole life health, which includes fitness, nutrition, relationships, outlook and more ways to promote overall
health. I personally know a number of people involved in this ministry, and I highly recommend it. You can find it here.
The Open Word Daily e-Devotional Subscriber Page. In its 10th year of daily publication, The Open Word Daily e-Devotionals is my personal "baby," and it is a labor of love. A FREE daily e-devotional arrives in the e-mail inbox of subscribers every day. Over the past 10 years, I've sent out more than 3500 e-Devotionals to hundreds of subscribers. The Open Word Audio Devotionals. I had a morning radio show for many years entitled The Open Word. From time to time, I place audio devotionals from the past on this page. I hope they bless you! You can access them here.
