Hello ,
Peace That Passes Understanding
Scriptures:
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.” — Isaiah 26:3
“My peace I give to you.” — John 14:27
Peace is not the absence of trouble. It is the presence of trust.
Throughout history, there are accounts of
believers facing great uncertainty—wars, exile, loss—yet remaining inwardly calm. This was not because they were fearless people, but because they trusted a faithful God. Their peace came from anchoring their minds in God’s promises instead of their fears.
Biblical peace is not fragile. It does not disappear when things go wrong. It stands guard over the
heart, even in chaos. Paul described peace as something that “guards” us—like a sentry protecting what matters most.
Peace grows when we choose where to place our attention. When our minds dwell on everything that could go wrong, anxiety grows. When our minds rest on God’s faithfulness, peace grows.
Jesus offered peace to His disciples knowing they would soon face confusion and loss. He did not promise them clarity. He promised them His presence.
Today, trust that God sees what you cannot. You do not have to solve everything to experience peace. You only need to
place your confidence in Him.
