In a school experiment, some young men put a frog in a container of water and began to heat the water very slowly. The water finally reached the boiling point and yet
the frog never even attempted to jump out. Why? Because the changes in the environment were so slight and slow to occur that the frog didn't notice them until it was too late.
As Christians, we can end up like the frog. There are changes in our moral environment that we don't even notice have occurred.
Here's a challenge for you. Think about the television that was popular in 1960's and compare it to what is playing in the living rooms of America in our current day and age. Notice a difference?

Let's remember, that just because we often become emotionally numb to some of the things happening in our world today, it doesn't mean that those things are no longer wrong. It's something to think
about.
