Hello ,
I sent this out this e-Devotional a little bit late
for a reason today. You see, I'm a native New Yorker, and I remember EXACTLY where I was 24 years ago today when I received the news that the Twin Towers had collapsed in New York City.
Not a September 11th goes by, that I don't recall this horrible moment in history that touches the lives of so many. I believe that our collective society turned an awful corner on that Tuesday
morning, and I think you would agree with me that so many things have changed since then.
I would like to humbly ask that you join me in prayer today. Please for the lives that were affected in this tragedy, (yes, there are still families that mourn their losses on this day every year).
Also, please pray for the world that we are now living in, and all those affected by tragedy in the day and age in which we are living. I believe that many of the struggles that we are seeing in the world around us are indications that Jesus is soon to return.
People need Jesus as much (or more) than they ever have, in a world that seems to have spun out of control.
May each of us be faithful in bringing the light of the beautiful gospel into the lives of others!Have a great day and God bless!Pastor Mike / The Open Word
