Hello ,
There are seasons when life feels spiritually uneventful. No crisis, no breakthrough, no dramatic answers—just steady days that seem to blend together. Many people assume God is distant during such times. Scripture suggests the opposite.
“The Lord makes firm the steps of the
one who delights in Him” (Psalm 37:23)
God is not only concerned with destinations; He is deeply involved in the steps that lead there.
After Israel crossed the Red Sea, Scripture does not move
immediately from miracle to miracle. Instead, it describes long stretches of walking, gathering manna, resting, and moving again. God’s presence did not diminish simply because the days felt ordinary.
In modern life, we often associate God’s presence with emotional intensity. But faith is not sustained by constant excitement. It is sustained by trust
developed over time. Like roots growing beneath the surface, God’s work is often invisible before it becomes visible.
God works even when we are resting. He is present even when nothing dramatic seems to be happening.
If
today feels spiritually quiet, take comfort. God is not absent. He is steady. Walk with Him through the uneventful days. They are not empty; they are formative.
Have a great day and God bless!
