Hello ,
In the early days of NASA’s space program,
engineers discovered that a single missing decimal point could cause catastrophic failure. Small measurements mattered. Precision mattered. Faithfulness to details mattered—especially when no one outside the room ever noticed the work.
Jesus makes a similar point when He says, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much” (Luke
16:10). God’s kingdom does not measure importance the way the world does. Faithfulness is not proven in moments of visibility, but in the quiet, consistent choices we make when there is no applause.
Scripture is filled with examples of this principle. Moses tended sheep for decades before leading a nation. Esther lived faithfully long before she was called
to act courageously. God often prepares His people in obscurity.
The way we live now forms who we become later. Faithfulness is not accidental; it is cultivated through daily habits of trust, honesty, and obedience.
It
is easy to dismiss small acts as insignificant—a kind word, an ethical decision, a prayer whispered at the end of a long day. But God sees these moments. He sees the heart behind them.
Today, resist the urge to minimize faithfulness because it feels small. God is at work in the unseen places of your life. Walk with Him there. He is faithful and will walk
with you every step of the way!
