Hello ,
“But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not
because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy.” (Titus 3:4-5)
In July 2025, a Tennessee pastor stopped a teenage carjacker outside his church. Instead of pressing charges, he offered the boy forgiveness and help—saying, “If he’d known mercy, he wouldn’t have done this” (New York Post, Jul 8 2025).
Mercy shines brightest when it’s undeserved. God doesn’t wait for us to clean up or make amends—He reaches
down in our rebellion and offers grace. Like that pastor, we are called to see potential where others see only guilt.
Think of someone who doesn’t “deserve” your kindness. Ask God for the courage to show mercy anyway.
Have a great day and God bless!
