ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

After a devastating wildfire in California destroyed homes in the fall of 2024, neighbors began housing displaced families and volunteers cooked meals
for total strangers—acts of kindness that spread faster than the flames themselves (ABC News, Oct 2024).
Even when life burns down what we hold dear, God’s mercy never runs out. Like those neighbors who opened their homes, His compassion meets us amid the ashes. Each new morning is
proof that God hasn’t given up on us.
Write down one “messy” area of your life. Pray: “Lord, meet me here with new mercy today.”
