“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” (Psalm 103:8)

While I don't agree with playing the lottery, the following story caught my eye. 

A group of nurses from Mercy Hospital who won a lottery pool in 2018 decided not to keep the money. Instead, they gave it away to colleagues and families in need—a selfless act that went viral (Mercy Newsroom, Nov 30 2018).

Mercy forgives and releases. When we experience God’s mercy, we are moved to extend it—letting go of resentment, forgiving others, and showing generosity instead of judgment.

Ask God to bring to mind someone you need to forgive or reconcile with. Offer mercy the way you have received it.
