Hello ,
The Great Exchange
The Apostle Paul writes, “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
This is the great exchange — Christ takes our guilt; we receive His righteousness. You could not write a more lopsided deal.
In ancient Rome, when a debt was paid, the certificate of debt was stamped tetelestai — “paid in full.” At the cross, Jesus declared the
same word (John 19:30).
He doesn’t improve your righteousness; He replaces it!
That’s why Paul could say, “Not having my own righteousness… but that
which is through faith in Christ” (Philippians 3:9).
You don’t stand before God dressed in your achievements...you stand clothed in Christ’s perfection!
Have a great day and God bless!
