He climbed into the backseat of our family vehicle grinning from ear to ear. My son had just got back from taking a load of scrap metal with a family friend to the recycling center. He had been working for the past two days piling iron, copper, stainless
steel, and aluminum in various areas for recycling. He and the friend loaded it on a trailer and took it to the center to see what they could get for the load. My son was quite unprepared for what he would receive.
$540. for a load of, what appeared to be junk! I was flabbergasted. He was elated and excited as he proudly
showed us how his hard work had paid off. When they had left with the trailer load, I had chuckled to myself that someone would be willing to pay for all that scrap metal. I was amazed by the results.
This experience reminded me that God often places a higher value on people than we do. There are times when Christians don't give others a
passing glance. God doesn't view them like that at all. Every one of them is precious in His sight.
Let me challenge you to ask God to allow you to see others through His lens today. What a difference it can make!
Have a great day and God bless!
