Hello ,
I purposely waited until the evening hours to send out the Open Word
e-Devotional. I did so to remind you that as important as it is to spend time with the Lord in the morning, it is equally important to do it at night time.
When i was a child, there was a hymn that I loved to sing at the church where I grew up. Perhaps you've heard of it. Day Is Dying In The West is one of those hymns
that reminds us that God never sleeps, and that we can praise him at any time of the day or night. Here are the lyrics:
Day is dying in the west;
Heav’n is touching earth with
rest;
Wait and worship while the night
Sets the evening lamps alight
Through all the sky.
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts!
Heav’n and earth are full of Thee!
Heav’n and earth are praising Thee,
O Lord most high!

Have a great evening and God bless!
