Hello ,
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
— Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Waiting on God is rarely easy. When the darkness closes in, the silence of heaven can feel like abandonment. But Scripture teaches that delay is not denial. Often, it is in the waiting that our faith is
refined, our character shaped, and our spiritual roots deepened.
Consider David, anointed king as a young shepherd boy, yet he waited over a decade to take the throne. Much of that time was spent fleeing for his life from Saul. In the caves of despair, David learned to lean wholly on God, pouring out his heart in the Psalms.
One of his cries reminds us.
“I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.”
— Psalm 40:1 (KJV)— Psalm 40:1 (KJV)
His waiting was not passive, but active trust — a hopeful, prayerful clinging to God’s promises even when circumstances seemed to scream the opposite.
What are you struggling with, today? Is there something that you have been waiting for, hoping for, counting on; and yet you wonder if (or when) God will
answer?
Take heart! God is still in control, and He can be trusted!
Have a great day and God bless!
