Hello ,
"I'm robbing you sir." In a video that went viral across the
internet a few years back, a man politely robs a convenience store at gun point stating that he is sorry, that he has kids to feed, and rent to pay before taking $300. and quietly walking out of the store.
Here's a link, if you would see the video for yourself. At the end of the video, you hear the store employee say, "God be with you." The robber answers, "And with you too."
Amazing?
Yes, of course.
Even more amazing are the comments that have circulated about the video. Many people have summarized the entire ordeal with comments like, "What else could this guy do? He has kids!" and "What's the big deal? The guy needed the money."
Am I
old-fashioned, or is stealing still wrong...whether you're polite or not?
When we are tempted to legitimize wrong-doing in our own lives, let's remember that we can't make it better by "sugar-coating" it. God still expects us to do what's right through His power and grace!
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1 Corinthians 10:13
Have a great day and God bless!
