Hello ,
It is said that King Frederick William IV of Prussia once visited a school and spoke to the students. Holding up a stone he asked the children: to what kingdom does this belong? They responded: mineral.
He then pointed to a flower and asked: to what kingdom does this belong? They answered: plant.
He then pointed to a bird flying by outside the window and asked: to what Kingdom does that belong? They replied: animal.
Then he asked: now, to what kingdom do I belong?
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world..." ]
John 18:36
This of course is the question we all must ask of ourselves. Each
and every day of our lives we must ask this question if we are to fulfill the destiny that God has laid out for our existence on planet earth.
The answer to this profound and probing question in every moment will give us insight into where we are headed. It's a challenging thought, but it's one worth thinking!
