"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
Lamentations 3:22-23
You
and I aren't guaranteed tomorrow. In fact, we aren't even promised another minute of time here on planet earth. I became personally more aware of this on May 5th, 2023 when I had the windowmaker heart attack that almost took my life.
Anything can happen, at any time, but as long as we stay connected to our Creator, we don't have to
worry.
My brother-in-law, Michael Garrison passed away in 2018. He was one of the most Godly men I have ever met, and wrote the following:
“The greatest tragedy in life is not dying, but dying
unprepared.”
Reading that simple quote seems to center me spiritually, and grounds me to the idea that having a relationship with my Creator is the greatest endeavor that I can ever aspire to.
How is
it with you today?
Are you embracing and appreciating the life that you have been given through the generous gifts of Almighty God? I pray that your Heavenly Father will lean in closely to you today, and every day.
Have a great day and God
bless!
