So many challenges take our eyes off of the really important stuff, don't they? I have had situations in this life that absolutely paralyze
me.
Sometimes, I still do.
You and I are challenged to allow God to be God. That doesn't sound like a difficult thing to do, but it certainly can be. If you're anything like me,
you can be fiercely independent, and want to do everything on your own. Allowing someone else to do for us what we cannot can be an amazingly difficult task.
Fighting the good fight of faith is not getting into life's "ring" and swinging for ourselves. It is fighting the inclination to believe that we have it all figured out, and that we are strong
enough to fight our own battles. The battle belongs to the Lord!
