To illustrate to his students the
power of little things, Professor Tait had a heavy iron joist suspended from the roof of the laboratory by a strong cord, and then began to throw small paper pellets at it, striking it square each time.
At first there was no perceptible movement of the joist, but after a continuous barrage of paper pellets, the iron joist commenced to sway from side to side and swing like a
pendulum.
Little things move our days as well. When something negative happens, even if it's a little thing, our day hits a spiritual "speed-bump." Have you ever had a day when a lot of little things makes for a very bad experience?
What do people experience when they
come in contact with me? When I have encounters with others, do they walk away feeling better, or feeling worse because of the "little things" that I bring to the situation?
Have a great day and God bless!
