Who we are
speaks louder than what we know. It's a fact that "people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care."
If we are biblical scholars, some people may be reasonably impressed. If we are loving people that have the God-given ability to see others for what they could become, love them despite their faults, and
treat them the way Jesus treated people, we move into a totally different realm.
People want to be with people who really care at a heart level. Head knowledge is a wonderful thing, but only as it is connected to the heart will it have a lasting impact on those that we encounter.
I'm praying the following prayer today: "Lord, help me to be a reflection of Your incredible love towards those that I encounter today. When they see me, may they have a deeper understanding of what You are like!"
