I love that quote! When applied to spiritual things, it becomes a potent reminder to us that learning doctrine is a wonderful thing, but having a vital connection through prayer, meditation, and sharing our love for Christ with others keeps the "fire" going in our spiritual lives.
I'm the kind of person that needs
to be "doing" things all the time, but I'm learning that "being" is just as important to my spirituality. "Doing" bible study is profitable, but "being" in a relationship with Jesus makes all the difference!
