Hello ,

Tomorrow (November 28th) is Giving Tuesday around our nation. Throughout the year, I often have people who contact me, wanting to know how they can give to The Open Word Daily e-Devotional ministry. 

The Open Word has never been about collecting money, but there are those who have asked if they can partner in financial ways with it, so I'm sending this e-mail to everyone on our list.

Some of our subscribers have already given (or continue to partner with me on a monthly basis). I want to thank those who have, for your kindness and commitment to this small ministry that began 14 years ago.  

Most of all, I covet your prayers as I continue to recover from my heart transplant. This certainly was an unexpected turn of events in 2023, but God has continued to bless through all of the challenges in a way that only HE can.  

Some have contacted me, and asked me to share the link to an area where they can donate to The Open Word, and I decided to send out an e-mail to all our subscribers with a link where they can do that if they so choose. The link is here, or at the bottom of the page.

I have seen God open so many doors of opportunity to share His love for people through these daily devotionals, and I thank Him for His continued sustaining power in keeping it moving forward. 

I want to continually share the following truth with people in any way that I can:  God's love for people has never waned, and He continues to desire to spend eternity with them.

May God continue to use this small ministry for HIS honor and glory as we reach out to our subscriber base with the love of Jesus. 

As long as God keeps allowing me to send these out, I will continue to do my best to uplift His holy name. Please keep me (and all those subscribers who receive the daily devotional) in your regular prayers!
