Being afraid is a very human thing to be. We are afraid when the things that we are up against look insurmountable. We are afraid when it looks like we're fighting something that has already won the battle. We are afraid when we're overwhelmed by something that's bigger than
us.
God does His very best work when we acknowledge that He is Lord. As frail human beings, we can't stop some bad things from happening, and there are times when we can't make bad things go away. If we trust in the Lord however, and rely on His mighty power during those times, He can calm the storm that rages in our hearts. He
doesn't always choose to take away the struggle, but He can help us have the strength to deal with whatever comes our way.
