Hello ,
"I feel lucky!"
Have you ever heard someone use that phrase, or perhaps even said it yourself?
(LUCK) according to the dictionary - "chance considered as a force that causes good or bad things to happen."
If we allow ourselves to believe that our life path is determined by luck, how can God possibly fit into that equation?
"It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed; His compassion do not fail. They are new
every morning; great is Your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23
It can be fun (and benign) to wear green, or to enjoy seeing people wearing shamrocks on St. Patrick's Day. When we begin however, to buy into the idea that blind luck exists, and that we are subject to some cosmic "burp" in order to have a
good day, perhaps we need to re-think our position.
God gets the glory for every good and perfect gift that is from above, and "being lucky" has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Today (and every day), might be a great time to change our vocabulary from "lucky" to "blessed."
Have a great day and God bless!
