Hello ,
Therefore
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
Romans 12:20-21
It's one thing to walk
away from a tense situation, but it's quite another to actually treat the opposing party with love, attention, and respect by providing for their needs.
It's counter-intuitive, at best.
“Do I not destroy my enemies when I make them my friends?” Abraham Lincoln
The scriptures were advocating this LONG before Abe gave us this solid quote.
Good advice from BOTH sources.
Have a great day and God bless!
