Hello ,
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
As many times as we've been told, "Don't judge a book by it's cover," some still catch themselves engaging in this kind of behavior.
It's easy to do.
It's a simple thing to think that we know what might be going on in a person's life, but it's rarely as uncomplicated as we sometimes make it out to be.
Think of a time in your life when you were misjudged. Wouldn't it have been wonderful if the people who were judging you had been able to see how much you sometimes
struggle?
I'm thankful to have a Creator who knows all about me, and loves me anyway. What can I do to be more loving and less judgmental of others, today?
God's word gives us hope to do better in the arena of human relationships.
What are some of your "go-to" verses of scripture that help you in this area of your life? I would love to hear your
thoughts.
Have a great day and God bless!
